Esterhazy has sailed via Rotterdam, for America. It is surmised that the French War Office is assisting him from secret fuuds. It is expected that the Court of Cassation will demand the Picquart dossier. The CourtMartial on Picquart will perforce have to be adjourned. A procession, numbering thousands, headed by professors and students, marched to the prison where Picquart is incarcerated. There was a great demonstration, the people cheered Picquart and hooted Drummont, the well-known anti-semitic Deputy and Rochefort. The Court of Cassation may declare the trial of Picquart, an essential witness, by a court-martial as contempt of court.
