HAMILTON HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
- The committee have now completed their arrangements for the annual Show to-morrow. The entries received are most satisfactory, and the show of pot plants and cut blooms will be a considerable advance on any previous display in Hamilton. The hall will be open to the public from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and again from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be a promenade concert in the afternoon and again in the evi ning. The ladies of the committee will provide light refreshments at a small charge, and "this, no doubt, will be much appreciated by visitors from a distance. Without doubt the show will be a most interesting and beautiful display, and one that cannot fad to delight all lovers of flowers. We have been requested to publish the following for the information of visitors : —Exhibits may be received between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on the morning of the Show. Pot plants may also be delivered at 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Each exhibit must be accompanied by an envelope or piece of paper with the name of the exhibitor and the class of the exhibit written thereon, for the information of the stewards. Children competing in the class for bouquets must biing their ilowers and materials to.St. Peter's schoolroom between 3 and 5 p.m. on Tuesday. A member of the committee will be in attendance and supervise the making of the bouquets and receive the entries and take charge of the bouquets. No further entry is required. Children competing in other classes must enter and deliver their exhibits in the same way as adults.
