ARCHER has made a full confession of having- murdered his mate, Matthews. Ho informed his spiritual adviser thaihe committed the offence to obtain money. Bad company and fast living he says led him to the. crime. (Received November 21, 4 p.m.). MELBOURNE, November 21. Archer, for the minder of Matthews, paid the penalty to-day. Death was instantaneous.
