LIBRARY ENTERTAINMENT.

Last night the Volunteer Hall, Hamilton, was° comfortably filled with an appreciative audience, when a varied programme was gone through. The first part, which was most successful, consisted of several pleasing plantation songs and solos by the well-known favourites, Mrs Whitakcr, Miss Cussen and Messrs Lloyd and W. Gray; each of whom was encored. To Miss Sandes'is due the credit-of arranging and carrying through this part of the entertainment. The To Awamutu Theatre Royal Company filled the bill for the second part with the clever dramatic sketch, "The Burglar and the Judge." The playet-3 being :—Messrs Gresham, St. Clair and North. We regret, that owing to want of space, we are unable to give a more detailed account.
