NGARUAWAHIA REGATTA.

A MEETING of the Executive Committee was held on Wednesday. Owing to the fact that St, Patrick's Day falls on a Friday, it was thought that Saturday would suit the Auckland public and the rowing men better, so it was proposed by Mr Lynch, seconded by Mr Davies, and carried, that the resolution re date passed at the last meeting be rescinded and that the regatta be held on Saturday, March 18th, subject to the approval of the Traffic Manager oi the railways. The Maori poster containing list of the Maori eveuts and prizes was then dealt with, and although it will be much the same as last year, there will he one or two new and sensational features which ought to improve the programme. It was resolved that the secretary get 300 of these Maori posters printed at Tin: Waikato Argus Office. This concluded the business.—(Own Correspondent).
