SOUDAN.
A FRENCH SUGGESTION. (BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.— COPYRIGHT). London, October 18. A Reuter's despatch states that Baron De Courcel, late French Minister to England, suggests that Franco should retire from Fashoda if the Bahr-el-Ghazal is delimited, and an outlet conceded into the Nile. Lord Salisbury is considering this suggestion. The Khalifa is flying to the westward almost deserted by his followers.
