THE HAWKE'S BAY JOCKEY CLUB'S SPRING MEETING. FIRST DAY. TnERE was perfect weather on Tuesday for the openiTig day of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's Spring Meetiug. There was a large attendance and the course was in good order, considering the recent rains. The amount put through the totalisator was £4538.
