THE FAMOUS PENN.
ATTEMPT TO STEAL HIS BODY. (by electric telegraph—copyright). London, October 8. An attempt was made at midnight at Jordans to disinter the remains of William Penn. The suspected intention was to convey them to Pennsylvania. A man has been arrested in connection with the affair.
