(by electric telegraph—copyright.) QUEENSLAND PARLIAMENT. Brisbane, October 6. Mr Glassey, Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly, condemned the Ministry for proceeding with business. He said that they should have asked for temporary supply and then gone to the country. Mr McDonald accused the Speaker of assisting the Government by not adjourninir for the usual tea hour. A wild and disorderly scene followed. Mr McDonald refused to withdraw the * accusatiou and, with Mr Hoolan's assistance, resisted the messengers' efforts to remove him. Mr Hoolan remarked that he would not obey such a contemptible little nigger-driver as the Speaker. Both members were suspended for a week. Disorder was continued after tea successively by Mr Turley and Mr Dawson, who were suspeuded for 24 hours, and by Messrs Dunsford, Keagh and King, who were suspended for a week for charging the Speaker with partisanship and with snubbing the Labour party. Throughout the scene the Labour members shouted uncomplimentary opinions regarding the Speaker. (Received October 7, 9.50 a.m.). Brisbane, October 7. Another scene occurred in the Assembly, and Mr Battersley was suspended for a week for using disorderly language, in challenging a member to fight. "

The Legislative Assembly so,t all night discussing the censure motion, and the debate still continues. The Premier announced his determination to take a division before the sitting closed. At 2 o'clock Mr Hurley moved the adjournment of the debate, which was negatived by CO to 52. This is accepted as an index to ,a Government majority.

MANSLAUGHTER. Melbourne, October 7. At the inquest on the woman Robertson, a verdict of manslaughter was returned against Myers. THE SOUTH AUSTRALIAN HARVEST. Adelaide, October 7. Recent hot winds and frosty nights have had a damaging effect on the harvest, but rain is again falling.
