That a Special Rate of Oxe--BIXTKENTH OF A PENNY IN TIIK £ be struck on the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Waipa to provide the interest and sinking fund on a loan of £250 to be raised under " The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 188 G;" said loan being to provide funds to meet the County's contribution towards the Waipa Bridge at Ngaruawahia. Such rate to be an annual-recurring rate, payable to the Collector in one sum on the Ist November in 2nd. That By-law No. 6 relating to traction engines be amended so as to provide for the better regulating and licensing of all travelling engines; also, that by-laws be enacted for the following purposes—viz. : No. 7 : For regulating and licensing of all vehicles running for hire for the carriage of cither passengers or goods ; also timber waggons No. 8 : For registering and licensing of pedlars and hawkers No. 9 : For regulating bicycle traffic No. 10: For preventing the use of sledges on County roads, and the prevention of other offences on roads.
