THE DREYFUS CASE
(BY ELIiCTitIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT) Paris, September 28. The anti-Semitic Republican deputies desired an interview with the President to protest against the revision of the Dreyfus sentence. President Faure refused to see them.
Efforts were also made by Royalist deputies to interview President Faure with reference to the Dreyfus case, but they were futile. St. Petersburg, September 28. The Russian press are strongly urging the re-trial of Dreyfus. Sydney, September 29.
As a set-off to the anti-Semitic movement in France arising out of the Dreyfus case, the Jewish residents of Broken Hill have decided to abstain from dealing in French goods, patronising the Paris Exhibition or French insurance companies. Similar action throughout the colonies is suggested.
