The Waikato Argus Office. Monday. MR W. J. HUNTER'S CAMBRIDGE SALE. When the time for Mr Hunter's special sale approached on Saturday there were very few probable buyers in the neighbourhood of the yards, and a very dull sale was anticipated. However, it is usually the unexpected that happens, and the sale turned out a good one after all. The yards were well filled with a number of good young animals, and buyers for them turned up. The following are the prices realised :—Two and two-and-a-half-year-old steers, 47s 6d ; yearling steers, 32s 6d ; yearlings, mixed sexes, 26a ; low conditioned calves, 16s to 235; dairy cows, up to £4 10s ; fat cows, £4. The sale was a moat successful one, the whole of the cattle being locally bred and the buyers also purely local. AUCKLAND MARKETS. Mr J.
