Cavaignac, ex-Minister for War, has admitted that it is impossible to maintain that Dreyfus wrote the bordereau, one of the incriminating documents. September 17. The dessension in the French Cabinet over the re-trial of Dreyfus culminated in the resignation of General Zuilinden and M. Tillage, Minister for Works. They disagreed with the other members of the Cabiuet in consenting to a revision of the sentence. General Chauoine, general of First Army Corps, succeeds General Zuilinden as Minister for War. M. Godin takes the portfolio of Works.
