• Seoul, September 14. The Emperor of Corea and the Crown Priuce became suddenly ill after dinner. It is believed they were noisoned. Eleven courtiers have been arrested in connection with the affair. The Emperor is recovering. (Received September 16, 9.25 Seoul, September 15.

The Crown Priuce of Corea is still suffering from the effects of poison. The attempt is attributed to political motives.
