We understand that a match will be played at Hamilton ou Saturday, Ist October, letwecn the Karangahake Club, winners of the championship in the goldfields district, and tho Hamilton Club, winners of the Waikato championship. Arrangements arc now being made, and should' the match take place a charge for admission will be made in aid of the Hamilton Club.
Mr J. 15. Hammond, Hamilton, has a light tax cart for sale cheap. At their forthcoming Cambridge horse sale Messrs McMiuol and Co. will offer the thoroughbred stallion l/inlire, the cross-country mare Brown Bess, the well-known huutiuj; mare Doreen, and u team of five first-class waggon horses.
