THE DREYFUS CASE.

(by electric telegraph.—copyright). New York, September 1. A drama dealing with the incidents of the Dreyfus case has been acted in a New York theatre. It affected the audience to tears and they shouted, " Give Dreyfus a new trial." London, September 3. Mr de Blowitz, the Paris correspondent of the Times, states that Germany refrained from clearing Dreyfus from the charge on which he was convicted, fearing that the revelations would displace General Boisdeffre, the French Ambassador, whose incapacity for the' office favoured Germany. The Court of Cassation, ou technical grounds, has confirmed the decision not to prosecute Major Esterhazy and Madame Patty du Clam. Paris, September 4. M. Cavaignac, Minister for War, has resigned, refusing to consent to the revision of the Dreyfus case.
