Tbe rebel forces are not allowed to enter the city unless unarmed. The Americans captured 12,000 rifles and much ammunition.

It is astimuted that 1.30 Spanish soldiers were killed and 300 wounded.

It is reported that the insurgent leader Aguinaldo attacked the Americans after the surrender of the town, but the assault was easily suppressed. Tho American press is indignant at Germany helping General Auguste to escape.
