KIHIKIHI.
Closing Street.—A meeting of ratepayers of the Kihikihi Town District was held on Saturday. It was called for the purpose of deciding as to the closing of certain streets, particulars of which had been advertised in The Aegds. There wrs a good attendance of ratepayers, in which were included some ladies. Mr G. Elmsly occupied the chair, explained the object of the meeting, and took a show of hands as to the closing of the streets specified in the public notice. The voting in each case was unanimous. It now only rests with the Stipendary Magistrate to inspect the property and certify that they should be closed.
