OMDURMAN TO BE ATTACKED. (BY ELECTRIC TBLKCKA.ni—COPYRIGHT). (Received August 10, 10 35 a.m.). Cairo, August 9. It is reported here that Omdnrman will be bombarded in three days. The walls surrounding the town are three feet thick. Osman Digna occupies an entrenched positiou on the right bank of the White Nile, between Omdurman and Khartoum, where a large force of Dervishes is concentrated. Cairo, August 8. Independent tribes along the Blue Nile are negotiating terms with General Kitchener for occupying the country. An Egyptian battalion marched from Suakiui across the desert to Berber in IS days, covering Gl (?) miles in one day.
