THE MILK QUESTION.
TK KOWHAI. A well attended meeting of milk suppliers was held on Thursday in the school-house, Mr Frank Blclock in the chair. The following resolutions were proposed and carried unanimously : That milk suppliers do not sign the conditions of the New Zealand Dairy Association as they stand at present, but will supply on the old terms until Mr Spragg's return, when new arrangements will be made for the whole of the season ; that the price of milk should be one farthing per gallon all round added to the present scale; that clause 14 be erased from the conditions, as considered to tc impossible at Tc Kowhai ; that the New Zealand Dairy Association add sixpence to each cheque, so that on exchange milk suppliers would not loose to that amount ; that Mr T. Barford and Mr C. Linnncr be appointed delegates to the proposed Dairymens' Union ; that this meeting pay the actual expenses of the delegates while attending to their duties on behalf of the Te Kowhai milk suppliers, and in the event of their joining the Union, a fair share of all necessary expenses ; a resolution to join the Union was also agreed to by all present with the exception of one.—(Own Correspondent).
