TE AWAMUTU SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

TO THE EDITOR. gl K) _Your issue of 19th inst.,—is to " Inquirer's " contention that "it requires/owr (4) to make a quorum," I beg leave to refer "Inquirer" to section 70 of "The Education Act," 1877," which provides that "three (3) membeis" " shall form a quorum." In future, as in the past (with regard to the present school con.mittee for Te Awamutu), Press reporters will be welcome to attend all committee meetings. Except to deplore the fact that " Inquirer " had not (and probably still has not) sufficient pluck or manliness to sign his name to his communications, I deem the remainder of his letter unworthy of notice.—l am, &c, Thomas Gkksham. Te Awamutu, 21st July, ISLIS.
