A DISABLED VESSEL

(BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION). Wanganui, Last Night. The barquentine St. Kilda, which was stranded last week and refloated, is leaking at Kapiti. The Manaroa has been sent to tow her to Wellington. When the vessel's hawser snapped a sailor broke his leg, but he did not know the extent of his injuries'till at Kapiti, where he was transhipped to the Manaroa aud brought to the Wanganui Hospital. Wellington, Last Night. The barquentine St. Kilda, which was aground on the Wanganui bar last week, was brought to Wellington this afternoon in tow of the steamer Manaroa. The St. Kilda was moored alongside Jervois Quay. She was slightly strained whilst ashore on the Wanganui bar, and is leaking at the rate of about two inches an hour. After discharging her cargo she will be placed on the slip for examination and repairs.
