SHOCKING TRAGEDY.

(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) Perth, June 16. An extraordinary suicide occurred at Fremantle to-day, a boy of 16 shooting himself dead in the presence of his father. The latter had gone to say good-bye to his family by a prior marriage. The lad refused to shake" hands with him, and shot himself through the head. The father was distracted and fled, and he is believed to have committed suicide also. Later.

It is stated that the lad Mason, suicided through discovering upon the recent marriage of his father to another woman, that his father and mother had never been married.
