THE CHANGEABLE WEATHER.
SICKNESS PREVALENT IN NEW ZEALAND. CHANGES of season have variable effects upou different individuals (writes a medical authority) ; but none feel a change in the season so quickly as the fair sex, who by reason of their delicate organism are particularly proDe to exterior influences. There is a deal of sickness now right throughout Australia. Calling round to see a lady friend of mine, Mrs Margaret Ross, of Rathdown and Palmerston streets, Melbourne, the other afternoon, I found myself during a chat, gathering material which lias assisted me considerably in writing this article. " I have been a great sufferer from neuraleia for ten or twelve years," remarked Mrs Ross apropos of the subject, but nothing relieved me except Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People, which alone have effected a cure. All changes of season proved futile to arrest my malady. During the day time my sufferings were painful ; but on retiring to rest, the agony I suffered was excruciating, reducing me to a state of general collapse. I felt it during the day slightly ; but most severely at night." " Did you consult any doctors at all ?" " Many ; but received no permanent benefit. They gave me draughts and powders, but the effect was really nothing." " You. of course, have tried other remedies ?" " Yes ; I tried everything.but obtained no relief." " What induced you to try Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People ?" " An elderly lady, resident at Heathcote, 74 years of age, who had been a sufferer from rheumatism for 40 years, aud who had been absolutely cured by their use, rtcommended me to try the Pink Pills for Pale People." " Hnw long since might that be ?" "Six weeks since—the beginning of July. During the time I was taking the first box I lost only one night's rest, but since then I have never bad the least return of the old complaint." " Have you used much of the medicine ?" "About four boxes. Previous to my taking them the pain in my head reduced me to such a state that I was on the verge of madness. The last three years I had been very bad, so you can imagine the pleasure it was to me to find a remedy that has actually made a new woman of me." " That is so," remarked Mr Ross, who was present. " Had you seen my wife a few months since and now, you would scarcely believe her to be the same woman." '• Yes," added Mrs Ross, "my recovery has been most pronounced and satisfactory to me. I have great faith in Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People, and recommend them wherever possible." Congratulating Mrs Ross on her recovery, and expressing a hope that she would live long to enjoy the blessing of good health, our reporter withdrew. In all cases similar to the above mentioned, Dr. Williams' Pink Pills have been proved an undoubted specific. They build up the blood aud strengthen the system in such a way as to prevent any ill effects occurring after influenzal, colds, etc. They are also a certain cure for rheumatism, sciatica, lumbago, loss of physical strength, debility, indigestion, and sick headache. Obtainable from all chemists and dealers, or from the Dr. Williams' Medicine Co., Weiliugton, N.Z., who will forward six boxes for sixteen and sixpence (or one box for three shillings) post free. They restore pale and sallow complexions to the glow of health, and are a specific for all the troubles peculiar to the female sex ; while in the case of men they effect a radical cure in all cases arising from mental worry, over-work, or excesses of whatever nature.
