The passengers and crew were rescue i by the Mahinapua. THE MAITLAND DISASTER. Sydney, June 13. The Murine Board found that the Maitland was castaway through becoming unmanageable, and that no one was blameworthy. The Court praised the gallantry shown in saving life.
