THE LICENSING LAWS.
AN APPEAL DISMISSED. (by telegraph—press association). Christchdrch, Thursday. In the Supreme Court His Honor dismissed the appeal in a case in which a publican waH fined for selling to a boua fide traveller on Sunday, as the liquor was consumed by a resident. His Honor held that the Legislature's intention was that a traveller could not purchase liquor for another person.
