Tke Waikato Argus Office. Wednesday. MESSRS McNICOL AND CO.'S STOCK SALK. At Messrs McNicol and Co.'s sale at Ohaupo ou Tuesday there was only a moderate muster of stock. Dairy cows were fairly represented, any of a good class Belling well; beef also sold well. Prices as follows:—Dairy cows near profit, up to £4 8s ; spriuging heifers, iu low condition, from £2 17s 6d to £3 10s; calves, mixed sexes, 10s 6d to 16s 6d ; 18 months' iteere. 333 to 36s ; good two-year-old steers, £2 14s; yearling heifers, 19s; two-year old heifers, 28s ; ompty store cows, from 30s to £2 8s; fat steers, £7 10s; fat cows, £4 10s. Sheep : About 1200 were yarded, most of them big framed empty ewes, for which there was a good demand, prces having an upward tendency. -Good empty longwool ewes, from 7s 4d to 8s; close wool empty ewes, 6s 91 to 6s lid.
