TRADES AND LABOUR COUNCIL.
(BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, Last Night. The Trades and Labour Council decided to nominate Mr R. Slater, of Dunedin, as the workers' representative on the Arbitration Court. It was decided to present an address to Mr W. P. Reeves, congratulating him on the success of the labour laws on the statute book, the officers of the Trades Councils to sign. It was resolved that the annual Trades Conference should for the future be fixed permanently at Wellington.
