The weather promises to be fine for the Grand National Meeting to-morrow, and the meeting is expected to be the mo.<t noteworthy of its kind in this part of the coloDy. bor the Hurdles there will be a strong field. Opai remains favourite for this event, the best price obtainable bemg 2| to 1. Voltiguer and Nor'-west are regarded as the best of the others ; but the general opinion is that Opai will win. For the Steeplechase Muscatel is hardening, the best price for the Opai-Muscatel double being a hundred to six. Levanter is hardly so firm for the cross-country race.
