MURDER AND SUICIDE.
(BY ELECTRIC TKLEGB4PII—COPYRIOHT). Coolgahdie, June 1. A shocking tragedy occurred at the hospital last night. A party of nurses, including Mrs Gold, widow of Captain Gold, were dres?ed ready to attend a dance, when Peter Snodgrass, a well-known resident and ex-Member of the Victorian Parliament and brother of Lady Clarke, called and requested an interview with Mrs Gold. After some time three shots were heard, and both were found lying dead. Mrs Gold was 6hot in the breast and neck, and Snodgrass in the mouth. A revolver was found by the sice of Snodgrass. The cause is a mystery.
