Me alexakdbr Amtin's Rb?o*t.— All sales during the week hare been very much in favour of the growers. All lines of produce are still rising. Potatoes, oats and chaff all made a sharp advance. Dairy butter being extremely scarce has again advanced, likewise keg butter. Eggs more plentiful and falling. Kumaras, pumpkins, onions and plemelons are still improving, and are worth holding. Apples declined again this week, but arc really good buying, as they must advance again in June. All other lines of fruit are selling well. Poultry slow of sale. Pias improving In value. The Eomont Farmers' Union- (Limi ted), report:—At our usual fortnightly sale at Manaia, on the 18th Ins*., the yards were well filled with cattle, mostly large steers and datry heifers. Although the attendance was small, bidding was keener than we have experienced for some considerable time, resulting In most of the stock changing hands at advanoed prices on lass sales.
