PREMIER CONTRADICTED.
(by telegraph—press association). Dunedin, Last Night. The Union Company give au emphatic denial to the Premier's statement that they had declined to carry Westport coal to East Coast ports. The Westport Company were unable to supply the quantities demanded by a given time, hence tbe failure of the negotiations.
