♦ Thk Waikato Akgus Office. Wednesday MR W. J. HUNTER'S STOCK SALE. On Tuesday at the Ohaupo Yards about 250 head of cattle were yarded, mostly half grown cattle and grown steers. Tery few calves were offered —the demand being still slack for that class. There were several pens ot good fresh steers from Monavale, which sold well, the highest price being £5 15s. D dry cows were fairly represented ; but there was not a great demand ; empty cows sold fairly well. Prices for turnip cattle seemed to have an upward tendency. The following are the market prices: Dairy cows, from £2 17a 6d to £4 Is ; calves (mixed sexes), 12s ; three and ahalf year-old steers, fresh and well-bred, from £4 3a to £5 15s; three-year-old steerß, from £3 3s to £3 19s ; empty cows, from £1 12s 6d to £2 10b ; fat cows, from £4 to £5 Is. Sheep : About 600 were yarded, and all sold. Three quarter bred wethers, 7s Id ; half-bred, 5s 8d to 5s 9d ; half-bred ewes, 4s 3d.— (Own Correspondent). NEW ZEALAND DRUG COMPANY S MANURES.
