THE REVOLT IN ITALY.

It is now stated that the Pope has realised the serious results which the. connivance of the clericals with the aims of Republicans and Socialists in the Italian revolutionary movement weuld have, and intends to disavow all connection with the agitation. Six members of the Chamber of Deputies have been arrested.
