Prince Henry of Prussia, commander of the second German squadron on the Chintt station, was accorded a brilliant reception by tho Emperor at Pekin. The Emperer of China received Prince Henry of Prussia at the Summer Palace on terms of equality. He afterwards returned Prince Henry's visit and exchanged presents. The Prince then visited the Dowager Empress, who was much impressed by his masterful ability.
