" BRITAIN GRASPS HER HAND." Hail ! to our Brethren over the Sea ! Brothers, and sisters, Saxons, arc we ! Proud of our kinship, let us then greet ! Hand in hand grasping, in brotherhood meet The wide world o'er ! Hail ! to America ! Sous of the free ! Welcome her Flag, united we'll be— Salute we thy Banner, down with thy foes . In war or in peace, Britain's heart to thee goes. For ever-more ! England joins in thy triumphs, thy glories, her own, One blood in our veins ! hath our sympathies shown— One pulse in our Nation ! it beateth For Thee ! Let our Flags be united, henceforth may it be For ever, and aye ! Thy sous are our own, tho' the ocean divide, Thy sailors as braye ; as brothers we'll bide— The Flag of Thy Country, with Britain's entwine, Our " Union Jack " shall link ever with Thine ! Nor the Unio» Cease ! The " Stars and the Stripes," shall float iu the breeze, United with ours, o'er oceans and seas ! Our Tars shall be one—one glorious race !
