ALLEGED EMBEZZLEMENT.
(by telegraph.—own correspondent). Auckland, Last Night, On the arrival of the Moaua from Sydney, John Ferguson, stated to be an officer of the Salvation Army at Sydney, New South Wales, was arrested by Chief Detective Grace on a warrant on a charge of embezzling £l9 10s, moneys of Thos. Estill and other members of the Salvation Army. He had £205 6s 5d on bim when arrested.
