FOOTBALL.
A. practice will be held this afternoon on Sydney So|iiare, Hamilton, commencing at 3 p.m. .sharp, when it is to be hoped there will be a good attendance, as the teams to play in the tournament on Wednesday next will be chosen after the game. The Waikato Rugby Union will meet at the Royal Hotel, Hamilton, at 7.30 p m. this evening, when no doubt the fixtures for the first round of matches this season will be arranged.
