Poison is laid for dogs on The Lake Farm, Hamilton. Telegraph posts along a railway are arranged thirty to the mile. Messrs J. Gilmour, Victoria-street, Hamilton, are offering good value in blankets, rugs, etc. Tradespeople wishing to bring their wares before the notice of Waikato settlers must advertise in The Argus. By an advertisement in our " wanted " column it will be seen that Mr D.C. Mclntyre, hairdresser and tobacconist, has resumed business in Hamilton, in the shop adjoining the Hamilton Hotel, " There can be two opinions about everything " but as " there is no rule without an exception, the exception proving the rule," there cannot be two opinions about The WAIKATO AItGUS having the largest circulation of any paper in the four counties in which it circulates—viz., Waikato, Waipa, Piako and Riglau. The advertising public.are fully alive to this fact, as the columns of the paper prove.
