Mil ALEXANDER AITXEN'S REI'ORT. Prices for all Hues were very good today. Potatoes were a little easier owing to heavy arrivals Maize is still very scarce and consequently dearer. Oats continue firm, also all kinds of chaff, which is badly wanted. Kumaras scarce and rising. &ggs a little easier. Putter rising. Keg and bulk butter of all kinds is realising tip top prices, although last year it was hardly saleable at this time. A grand assortment of fruit came to hand this week, and all was cleared at full values excepting tomatoes, which fell rapidly. Quinces rose to lfd, and are wanted by the ton. Fowls are still low, likewise pies.
