In the evening the visitors were entertained at a smoke concert in Baihurst's Commercial Hotel. TATJPIIU V. WAITEKAUitI. On Thursday the Waitekauri team touring the Waikato met the Taupiri team. Play started shortly after 11 o'clock. Taupiri went first to the wickets and scoted 71 runs, C. M. Gleesou with a well-played 30 and C. R. Lovell 11 being top scorers. Waitekauri replied with 67, Fenn (36) being the principal scorer, going in fourth wicket down and being tenth man out. Taupiri thus won a finely-contested game by four ruus.
