Uud.r and iu pursuance ot 'The Education Act, 1877,' the Education Board of the District of Auckland directs it to be publicly notified that, in pursuance of a resolution passed by the said Board on the 22ud day of March, 1898, the boundaries hitherto fixed as the limit of the Te Kowhai School District have been altered, and that the same are now fixed in accordance with the- boundaries set forth and described in the Schedule hereto, for the purposes of ' The Education Act., 1877.' SCHEDULE. TE KOWHAI SCHOOL DISTRICT, Amended Boundaries. AH that area, iu the Auckland Land District commencing at the Waipa River termination of a piece of Crown land adjoining Section No. 100, Parish of Horotin. Bounded towards the north generally by the southern boundary of the Ngaruawahia School District to the southernmost angle of Section No. 159 of the Parish of Horotiu aforesaid, and thence by the road leading to the road leading to the southernmost angle of Sectiou No. 120 of the said parish. Towards the east generally by part of the south-eastern boundary of the Parish of Horotiu to the south-eastern angle of Section No. 91 of that parish, and thence by the road leading to the easternmost angle of Section No. 152 of the Parish of Pukete. Bounded towards the north generally by the southern boundary of the Te Kowhai School District, as amended, to the northernmost angle of Section No. 153 of the Parish of Pukete. Towards the east by the road bounding Sections Nos. 153, 112, 111, 109, 110, 88, 90, 91, 93, 94, 96, 97, 158, and 162, Parish of Pukete, to the south-western angle of the last-named section, thence by the line which forms the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 52, S 3, 84, S 5, 86, 67, 66, 54, and 55 of the Parish of Tuhikaranua to the south-eastern angle of the latter section. Towards the south by the road bounding Sections Nos. oii, 53, 52,51, 48, 47, 46, 45, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20a, 20, 19, and 18 of the Parish of Tuhikaramea uforesaid to the Waipa River. Towards the weat by the Waipa River from the south-western angle of the last-named section to the north-east-ern angle of Section No. 170n' of the Parish of Karamu, thence by the road from the last-named section to the southeastern angle of Section No. 4 of said parish, thence by the road which forms the south • western boundaries of Sections Nos. 4,3, 2, and 1, of said parish, thence by the road which forms the western boundaries of Sections ISos. 33, 32, 31, 30, 29, and 28 of parish aforesaid ; again towards the north by part of the northern boundary of said parish from the notth-western angle of the last-named section to the Waipa River : and again towards the west by the Waipa River to the commencing point.
