Private letters received from Constantinople state that the guards mutinied at the Yikhz Kiosk, and attempted the life of 'lie Sultan because they were furious owing to the war aguinst Greece having resulted in no additiou to Turkish territory. The mutiny was suppressed after 100 had been killed and many wounded. During the carrying out cf night evolutions at Biest, the cruiser Priant collided with and sank the torpedo boat Ariel. The crew were rescued The Reichstag has agreed to erect a national memorial to the late Emperor Frederick HI. The sealing down of the Dudley pit has been completed. Experts are of opinion that the tire will be effectually smothered in a few days. Work for over 100 of the Dudley miners has been found at the A.A. Company's pit.
