To be handicapped by the Stewards or their appointee. RULES. 1. Nominations fco be in the hands of the Secretary on WEDNESDAY, 30th March. 2. Weights to be declared on or about SATURDAY, 2nd April. 3. Acceptances, accompanied by the necessary fees, to be in the hanis of the Secretary at Tirau by WEDNESDAY, 6th April. 4. If a walk-over, only half the stakes will be paid. 5. No nominations or acceptances will be received on any pretence whatever after the day named or without being accompanied with the necessary amount of cash. 6 Age, pedigree and perfornnnces of horses, and colours of riders, to be sent in with all entries. 7. Any jockey riding, except in the colouis entered, will be fined Itov. 8. All protests must be made in writing to the Secretary within fifteen minutes after the race, accompanied Ly lsov., which will be forfeited to the Club should the protest be dismissed. 9. Should any dispute arise in any way connected with these races, the decision of the Stewards shall be accepted as final and conclusive, and every owner nominates subject to these conditions. H.
