(BY TELEGBAPH.—OWN COURESI'ONDEST). Aucklanp, Last Night. Standard stocks were in good demand. For National Banks 44s 6i was offered. There were buyers for National Insurance, South British, Standard, New Zealand Accident ; 40s was offered fcr Thames and Gisborue Gas. Coal shares are iu favour, there being buyers for Hikurangi, Taup : ri aud Westport. New .Zealand Drug and Northern Boot shares were also sought after. In mining there were a number of buyers for Thames stocks. No advance was made on late offers for Upper Thames ; buyers offered 7s for Komata Reefs ; Waihi Consols sold at 3d, and for Waitekauri 41s was offered ; Waitekauri United dropped to 8s 6d ; there were fellers of Woodstocka and New Zealand Talismans, for which buyers offered last quotation.
