FOUND DEAD.

GiSBORNE. Last Night. The body of a man, apparently middle aged, in an advanced stage of decomposition, was found in a ditch near the Park Racecourse. It was tota!l> unrecognisable, and there was nothing about the clothing by which the body could be identified. A bottle ha'.f full of rum was by his side and a hymnbook was in his pocket. No one is known to be missiug.
