METEOROLOGICAL. Wellington, March 18. Weather forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day : Wind ; Between north and west and south-west at all places. Barometer : Further rise at all places north of East Cape, Tuupo and Raglan, fall soon at all other places, but rising again after from 10 to 16 hours. Sea : Very heavy ou all west coast, heavy on cast coast south of Napier. Tides : High on west coast of North Island, moderate on east coast north of East Cape ; good thence south. Heavy westerly gales with rain and colder weather are to be expected at all places south of East Cape, Tanpo aud Raglan, and strong westerly winds thence north.
