AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.
(BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT). Auckland, Last Night. Business was done in Waihi-Silvertons to-day, 5s Id and 5s 3d, and Iftbanatairis, 7s 2d. Alburnia shares had a slightly upward tendency, buyers offering 3s 3d. Grt at Barriers were inquired, for at 2a 2d ; Kapai Vermonts at Is 3d,, there was an advance of 3d iu the lattercase. Waihi were inquired for at £4,. but 12* Gd more was asked by holders.. In other high priced stock there was no. alteration. In cheaper lines, Goldem Leads were dealt in at better rates,, owing to the good report from the mine--Victorias were enquired for at 81 ; but no sales resulted. Standard stocks had an excellent demand, with the exception of Banks and Insurance. Messrs Anderson and Gunn, the luoLg tributcrs in the Kapanga mine, CotoP mantlet, had a rather excellent return of bullion worth £550 Tnis makr.s £2750 obtained by this party from an old working in the Kapanga mine since shortly before Christmas.
