The return match between the Hamilton Cricket Club and the employees of Mr Thos. Slade eventuated on Saturday afternoon on Sydney Square. A considerable amount of inteiest was taken in the match, which was won by the factory representatives by four wickets and 55 runs. For the winners the highest scorers were H. Johnstone 53, C. Speight 25 (not out), and W. Evans 13. Noue of the club men reached double figures, Castleton being the highest contributor with 9, and Jack came next in order with 8. Victoria, was commeuced at Melbourne on Friday. The Colonials compiled 328 in their first venture, and at the close of the day's play on Saturday the Englishmen had seven wickets down for 238, of which Eangitsinhji contributed 131.
