(by telegraph.—own correspondent). Wellington, Last Night. The Cabinet has authorised votes of £3OOO each for the Central, North and Otago lines. It has been decided to re-new the bonuses for quicksilver and petroleum. The Government will increase the value of holdings under the Workman's Village Scheme from £l5O to £3OO. The Cabinet decided to refuse licenses to houses at Opitonui, Waikato and Mangaweka. Messrs Gardiner and Duncan will tour the oolony at the end of the month, for the purpose of inspecting machines, competing for the bonus of £1750, offered by the Government for the best flax dresser.
